High Focus Centers announced that it will open its sixth outpatient mental health and substance abuse treatment location in Lawrenceville, NJ on December 1, 2015. This location will serve adults and adolescents in the Mercer County area, and offer intensive outpatient and partial care programs.
According to the Office of the State Medical Examiner of New Jersey, the heroin death rate in 2014 rose to 7.5 per 100,000 deaths. High Focus Centers hopes to help New Jersey tackle its growing opiate addiction problem at its new and current locations.
“The risk associated with heroin and opiate abuse is profound,” said Director of Marketing, Dan Gellman. “When we work with clients and families affected by opiate addiction, mitigation of that risk is a central theme in every part of the treatment regimen.”
With over twenty years of experience in the provision of behavioral health care and thousands of successfully treated clients, High Focus Centers offers a unique viewpoint of the evolving substance abuse and mental health trends in each of the communities in which it operates, including the growing demand for treatment of heroin or prescription painkiller addiction.
“Certain factors make an individual extremely prone to relapse and overdose,” Gellman stated. “Our Opiate Protocols seek to identify the clients who are most at risk and introduce targeted and evidence-based interventions that give them the best chance at a successful recovery.”
High Focus Centers will look to partner with state and local agencies in the Mercer County area in order to jointly work towards improvements in behavioral health and addiction trends statewide.
The new site is located at 15 Princess Road in Lawrenceville.
