Mental Health Treatment for Adults and Adolescents

Our Johns Creek center offers mental health treatment for both adults and adolescents through evidence-based individual, group and family therapies, for individuals challenged with mood disorders, anxiety symptoms, depression, isolation and other mental health struggles.

The Johns Creek location is in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna and Aetna. Call (866) 204-7306 to learn more about outpatient treatment programs at this location. Same-day assessments are available.

Mental Health Programming for Teens

Adolescent Partial hospitalization (PHP)

This is a highly structured, full-day program designed to support teens with significant mental health symptoms. This program quickly stabilizes these symptoms to allow focus on the root problems to restore previous functioning. If lower levels of treatment are not working, the PHP may be a better option and can also be used as the next step after a residential program. We also offer a school component to provide academic support to students while in treatment.

Adolescent intensive outpatient (IOP)

This is an after-school program and can be used as an early intervention when teens first develop symptoms. It may also be used as a step down from higher levels of care. After completing the PHP program, teens can enter IOP next as they transition back to a regular school schedule.

Adult mental health treatment

Mental health PHP for adults

Our adult PHP provides structured treatment for individuals with significant mental health symptoms. PHP can be used as a step down from residential treatment or as an option if lower levels of care are not effective.

Mental health IOP for adults

Treatment includes group therapy sessions, individual sessions and psychoeducation to teach clients about managing a mental health disorder. We offer day and evening groups to give working adults flexibility.

Family workshops

Families of adolescent clients are strongly encouraged to participate in all parts of our program – it is as much of an expectation of treatment as it is for the client to attend sessions. Family relationships shape how teens form relationships throughout the rest of their lives. Our family workshops reemphasize the importance of the family unit, through weekly family therapy and active participation in a client’s treatment process.
